The bar has a flavor I was able to adapt to quickly. "Delicious" is difficult to claim for a diet bar but although you may not be sold on the first bite, you will be fine at the end of the first bar, even thinking it is very good (and I am a very picky eater!) The bar is VERY chewy, a quality that makes me feel like I have eaten more than any other bar. The chewing stimulates salivation and maybe that's why it is so satisfying. In addition, afterward you are very thirsty so you will have a large glass of liquid, which will really fill you up. I always have one in my purse and that keeps me from 'cheating' while driving or working. At 145 calories , there is no guilt.
Great for maintenance but also perfect for dieting and saving your calories for nighttime. If worse comes to worse, I have even pigged out on them having four bars at once (difficult to admit the lack of control) but for the 600 calories instead of the thousands in the frosted brownies I would have chosen, it's semi-guilt free.
